Accessible design in Open Source

Mr. Christophe Strobbe (from partner HDM) gave a presentation on Sunday 1st February 2015 at FOSDEM about  “Accessible Design in Open Source” (room AW1.126), in the framework of the “Open source design” track. The aim was to promote accessible design generally, and Cloud4all/GPII in particular, to the free and open source software community. A snapshot about his presentation is available at the FOSDEM website.

GPII Integration

If you are an AT developer, you can greatly benefit from integrating your solution with Cloud4all/GPII. This presentation was done during the SP3 hackathon that took place in Crete in June 2014, and explains step-by-step the process developers have to follow in order to integrate their solutions with the Cloud4all/GPII infrastructure.

A Implementer’s Story

Steve Lee, from Open Directive, has been one of the early adopters of Cloud4all/GPII. Maavis, a solution for people with dementia or cognitive impairment, has been integrated with Cloud4all since early in the project. In this presentation, done during the SP3 hackathon that took place in Crete in June 2014, Steve tells his experience integrating Maavis with Cloud4all.

Cloud4all Technical Overview

This presentation, made by Prof. Gregg Vanderheiden, provides a great overview of the Cloud4all architecture and all the modules that are building the GPII. As one of our mottos express, GPII is kind of like a car: it takes a lot of pieces to make a car simple to operate.

The General Public Inclusive Infrastructure (GPII) for auto-personalization of Accessibility

This presentation was introduce during the LMS / RMLL 2013. In this presentation, Javier Hernández (Emergya) and Christophe Strobbe (Hochschule der Medien) introduce GPII and provide hints to members of the Open Source community on how to collaborate building the GPII.

Cloud4all automatic personalised access
